I was only 15 (!) when I first noticed my hair loss. I was recording myself for a class project and saw that when I pulled my hair back, my hairline was way further back than it was last time I looked at it. I didn't tell anyone. But my newest great insecurity quietly grew over time until I felt that I had to do something.

I looked into the obvious options. Minoxidil. Finasteride. Costly prescriptions not only financially, but also physically. The side effects scared me too much to stick with anything for too long as someone who cared about my fitness, health, and well-being. I just wasn't ready to trade one problem for another, and thought that there had to be a better way.

I spent 7 years just researching hair loss solutions to save my own hair, never thinking I would ever turn it into a business. I spent years in peer-reviewed studies, scientific findings, research breakthroughs, etc. What I found surprised me. Rosemary oil had been found to perform similarly to minoxidil in a clinical trial and matched it for hair count improvement at six months. Peppermint oil outperformed minoxidil on follicle depth in four weeks.

Next, I tried these hair growth ingredients separately from countless brands. Unfortunately, every product I tried was either diluted, had bad ingredients, or cost hundreds. That's where the idea of Medíté started.

If I could take my 7+ years of hair growth research and use it to create the best combination of scientifically proven, clinically-backed natural ingredients, I could naturally save my hair. And it worked! I finally built my own perfect product around the actual science.

I formulated Medíté's blends based on the most studied plant actives for hair growth, and used it on myself for a year to make sure results didn't only come, but stuck around. I noticed baby hairs in the first few weeks.
